It was celebrations all round for Ferno (UK) after a massive response to its new stand and products at Ambulex 2011.
Ferno led the field when it came to hosting one of the largest stands at the new Ambulex venue which boasted several product viewing and demonstration areas, as well as a relaxing coffee lounge, full size and fully equipped demonstration ambulance and a Scalextric race track!
Ferno Managing Director, Jon Ellis, was also on hand to officially open the new stand and mark the Company’s 40th Anniversary year with Bucks Fizz and a custom-made Ferno ambulance birthday cake on offer.
But it wasn’t just the products that had delegates queuing up - Ferno’s Scalextric Racing Challenge was the big hit of the Exhibition. “This was great at attracting people’s attention and a light-hearted way of talking to customers and entertaining them at the same time,” said Jon. “It meant we weren’t talking shop the whole time but having fun whilst raising money for charity.”
“We have had some great feedback from customers and delegates who were very excited by our product development,” added Jon. “We already have a long list of clients who have signed up for product trials as well as advance orders.”
Ferno’s KED XT extrication device was also in the spotlight and continuously demonstrated by OxSTaR who used this particular product for the paramedics’ Ambulex Challenge Cup on their own stand.
Ferno also donated a second Ferno birthday cake to the Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund (ASBF) who raffled the cake and raised over £200.
