It was paramount for Ferno to introduce a bariatric trolley that would not only reduce the risk of injury for the handler, but also keep the patient comfortable and safe during transfer.

Standard features include:

• Adjustable side extension platforms
• Removable/reversible headrest
• Four point harness, removable for cleaning plus two patient restraints
• Trendelenburg with gas lift assist
• Fully sealed mattress and extender pads
• Backrest easily adjusted up to 75% via gas assistance
• Fully sealed dual action hydraulics for low maintenance and ease of operation
• Extendable push/pull handles
• Four pedal operated wheel/castor locks
• Load capacity 200kg (lowest position 300kg)

Based on the Ferno Pegasus, an already proven design, the Megasus easily converts to a bariatric trolley using side extension platforms.
