Traverse 540º Rescue Belays

Developed specifically to meet the needs of rescue system belays, the 540º Rescue Belay self locking devices meet demanding drop-test criteria – and are able to hold falling loads quickly while limiting the peak force. These well engineered devices are easy to rig and their symmetrical design reduces the risk of improper loading.

Designed to limit the “relative worst case” fall 1 of a rescue sized load (e.g. 200kg) to a peak force of approximately 15kN or less and with no more than about 1m stopping distance these devices are ideal for almost any application.

• Large Belay accepts 11.5 - 13.0mm diameter Kernmantle rescue ropes
• Small Belay accepts 10.6 - 11.6mm diameter Kernmantle rescue ropes
• A built in release lever eliminates the need for a separate release hitch.
