With 3 distinct versions, Regular, Tapered and Confined Space, the Gazelle Series is designed to fill the gap, where high-end titanium basket stretchers are not required but their durability is.
The Gazelle Series basket stretchers feature an all-carbon-steel, MIG welded frame construction. All three versions rely on its frame geometry, construction methods and materials for ultimate strength. The Gazelle Series is made using a tubular, 19mm top frame as well as lower rails. This is in contrast to other models it competes with, where the lower frames are made of flat steel.
The tubular runners are far stronger and give a much longer life to these basket stretchers. The Gazelle Series is not specifically designed to perform in a technical rescue environment from a design perspective, however, they are more than capable of being used in a raise/lower operation in terms of strength.
Unique features include flat carbon steel patient supports down the length of the stretcher. The Durathene netting allows water and air to easily pass through the patient compartment, yet the small holes keep from snagging debris. The Durathene material will not rust and potentially cause additional harm to your patient, and they are attached with shock-cord so they will give way when loads
are improperly placed on it. Tested to and beyond a 408 kg. (900 lb.) static threshold, you can be confident when using of any of the Gazelle basket stretchers.
Standard features include:
Certifications: No UL Classifications for Stretchers. CE Classified and Certified as a Class 1 Medical Device in August, 2003.
