Transit Evacuation Chairs

Designed for greater comfort and durability, our advanced Transit range of practical and robust chairs is ideal for patient transportation through corridors and stairwells and confined spaces. Versatile and manoeuvrable, these chairs are widely used for their patient comfort and user convenience, making them ideal for emergency evacuation.

Transit 1 & 1-S
The Transit 1 is durable, robust and finished in bright chrome. This proven chair is invaluable when transferring patients through corridors and lifts. The Transit 1-S comes with the added benefit of front swivel wheels to improve manoeuvrability.

Transit 2
The Transit 2 boasts an extended backrest together with a raised footrest for extra comfort to the patient. It is also fitted with large moulded grips for ease of lifting along with a 4-wheel build for ease of transport across floors.

Transit 3
The Transit 3 incorporates an adjustable patient restraint together with adjustable foot-straps to safely secure the patient during transfer. The 2-wheel build on the Transit 3 allows for an extra carrying capacity during transportation.

Specially designed features include:

• Folds easily to a slim size for storage
• Covered in a flame retardant, vinyl-coated nylon, which can be simpled wiped clean for maximum hygiene
• Safety rings, which slide over the folding mechanism
